North Island, mainly fine, though cloud increasing from Taranaki to Wellington. South Island, rain developing in the west and south, snow lowering to 900 metres in the south at night. High cloud increasing further north.
North Island, a period of rain or showers spreading north along with a southerly change. South Island, showers clearing and southerlies gradually dying away.
Occasional showers on Tuesday with fresh southwesterlies, clearing Wednesday with winds dying away. Mainly fine Thursday with northwesterlies developing.
